How To Build a WordPress Website From Scratch – Your Email Account And Plugins Part 1
This free WordPress training on how to build a WordPress website from scratch will be an ongoing series and from this web page, (this is going to be published as a page), will have a few posts that go along with it.
In other words you will learn as you go along here not only how to create a web page, but also the difference between a web page and a blog post and how to use them to get free traffic to your website.
I call this “Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3″ and has to do with how to organize a blog, or more so how to organize the structure of a blog so search engines will be able to easily find what they are looking for.
How To Organize A Blog, (like this in most cases):
- Tier 1 : Your Domain Name (Home Page)
- Tier 2: Your Page Tabs
- Tier 3: Your Blog Posts
If you organize your blog properly and also organize a blog post and page the right way, then the search engines will love your website and keep coming back to it.
If you’re going to learn how to build a WordPress website from scratch you may as well learn a little bit about search engine optimization along the way. Proper SEO will get you a lot of free traffic to your website and no matter what it is that you are looking to do with your website, free traffic is a good thing.
So to sum up Part 1 we learned:
- How To Get Your Own .com
- How To Get Your Own Web Hosting Account
- How To Upload WordPress To Your Website
